This is one of better executed AU KH fics. It felt very real and well thought out. I assume that hurricane weakened when they arrived? Because a Cat five would be impossible to survive without shelter even with special powers.
Axel's/Demyx's show of power in the end was a nice touch, but good thing that NOLA police dept. didn't get involved. Then again, with all the chaos, people would clearly be more concerned with survival/getting out, then saying much of anything, and authorities dealing with much more pressing matters, like the chaos being EVERYWHERE.
I thought it was smart that they showed up a year later during Mardi Gras wearing masks. Another nice touch.
Overall, it was well planned and well done. Bravo!
