So, Laurel and Firenze? I wasn't necessarily expecting that, but it works, and gets the somewhat squickier possibilities for Laurel out of the way.
The ending was interesting; I'm not sure I was expecting to see the fight dealt with in so few words, but it did the job--the aftermath was more important to the story. It's a pity about Séamus, but it would've been unrealistic if nobody'd been killed but nameless spear-carriers or extra-peripheral characters like Mr. Patil.
