I'm all for intelligent!Harry or super!Harry, but what you're doing is just stupid. Your Harry needs a swift kick up the ass, I won't even go into the annoying scientific magic concept and even more annoying brilliant!Harry that figured it out at the age of 7 or 8 or whatever it was.
I find stories that start like yours do finish in dead ends, since there is no plot to speach of to drive the action and you'll have to use cliched plot-twists to keep things interesting.
All in all 2/5 until now.
