Good round-out to your story, or at least this portion of your story. 'Tis a shame about Percy but he seems to have nothing but advancement on his mind and seems to somewhat lack the ability, or at least the confidence in his ability, to do so on his own merit. I can see that leaving him a rather embittered wizard if the Ministry switches to a much greater emphasis on ability and merit.
