Very nice. I suppose I should be surprised that Dumbledore didn't try to tell him about the prophecy, which would actually have had a chance of convincing Harry but I'm not.
I am surprised though that Dumbledore didn't get the Dursleys to sign the transfer papers, and that it didn't ocur to Harry that getting the Dursleys to sign whatever Dumbledore wanted would be very easy, even without using magic.
Also why didn't Harry put up more resistance to the idea, either declaring he won't go - if he's kicked out of Xavier he'll just go to the local school or trying to negotiate with the headmaster for some compromise with the headmaster's stated objectives - forex. offering to agree to get a magical tutor to study while he goes to Xavier, or attempting to convince Dumbledore he already has the needed control, etc...
I look forward to the next chapter.
