I like this different take on your part; 'twould be nice to see a bit more humble Albus who's not convinced of his own infallibility (obviously, he was smart enough to not be taken in by the PR puffery written about him). I daresay that his working with them from first year like this should make for some interesting ripples of change in the timestream.
