-chuckle- It seems that this Harry is rather too smart and self-assured to put up with Snape's ways and is taking a comparatively easy way of making it clear to him (the hard way would've been terminal). I do hope Severus is capable of learning; otherwise I sincerely doubt he'll last too long if he keeps the quarrel up.
I do feel somewhat sorry for this Hermione, but, as near as I can tell, she brought it on herself. I do hope she can let go of her pride and realize that she needs friends where she can find them and reaches out to Harry. Mind you, if the troll incident occurs on Halloween, I'd give even odds on her survival without Harry as a housemate to spur the action. 'Twill be interesting to see what eventuates and, if she survives, she asks for a resorting.
