This isn't a pairing I've actually considered. Usually, I read shonen-ai, possibly because that's what got me started in the fandom. If a story is het, it's usually Duo with Hilde, Quatre with Dorothy (!?) and, of course, Heero with Relena. But this story made me think. 4xR actually makes a lot of sense, certainly more than 1xR would if Relena weren't canonically obsessed with Heero...
Also, you really made me feel Heero's death and Relena's grief, rather than just skipping through it to hurry towards the main pairing. Thumbs up ^_^
