As for the other story, post it, as long as you continue to update this one. It'll be good for both this story and you, it will give you a chance to write something more fun and lighthearted, and give you more time and variety to think of updates for this fic.
The Jonas Bro's bit does scare me, but if it's well written, count me in to read it lol
