Honestly I don't think you're being true to yourself. We talked about how we read stories and think in our minds how we want it to end. I know when I have have a story I usually know how it's going to end almost as soon as I have the idea and wrap my story around how it's going to end. If you really are having a hard time and it's not from pressure from people like me LOL!! Go back and read the series and in the end who can you imagine she ends up with. I think you know the answer. Of course that's my opinion.
And if you choose the course you're on it seems you have a winner congrats.
