Good solid chapter; and yes, most jokesters don't know when to stop. Harry and Luna were very believable.
Obviously Dumbledore had clued in Snape (I don't see how he would have been so prepared unless he was somehow clued in, anyway). If you are at all following canon personalities, he isn't a traitor to the order, so the pair would then be up to something. Of course, if you aren't that leaves things wide open!

Whew, thanks DrT, was worried about how the H/L ws going to be received.
I'm not going to drop any hints about what happened in Spinner's End, but I'm aiming for a few 'facepalms' out of it when the big reveal occurs in a chapter or two.. or 3 (depends on how cruel I get).
