Just discovered this site and your story is very pleasant to read. Actually I was thinking myself in a story where Mad Eye were less involved with Dumbly guy, and more toward training Harry, and this seems to be where somehow you are going.
I loved the Tai Chi sequence, think it makes a lot of sense. Also the Angst felt through his imprisonment is very well crafted, I thought you were going to make him more Darkish after that part where he feels abandoned 'cause no one had visited or saw after him, but now it seems to start to become wise.
