Dumbles really screwed the pooch. You didn't say how he left the Dursleys-- if he didn't obliviate them then they would leave again as soon as they got out of the bindings. If he left them in the bindings, he's even more senile than expected, as they'll kill Harry for what happened to them if dumbles gets him back.
Loved the scene with Hermione and Luna. Looking forward to the Hermione - Harry conversation.
Fawkes' fallout should be good; Harry showing up with the bird should lead to some more Ron jealousy.
