very interesting story, has potential. from my (very) limited knowledge of DC (Im a Marvel fan) i assume the entity who destroyed the corp was ION? most of my GL Knowledge comes from the justice league cartoons and the few BtVS crossovers ive read over on twisting the hellmouth, XION, by methos i believe, is what comes immediately to mind.

- When Hal Jordan (the 'silver age' GL) lost it and destroyed the Corps, he called himself Parallax. Ion was the name Kyle Raynor took when he became infused with the green energy and basically became a god
