Very nicely done. I just read this story to date and I find it quite enjoyable. I really like the conflict between Harry and his parents and I hope you don't resolve it too simply. Personally I think James and Lily gave up the right to call themselves Harry's parents when then abandoned him. and to celebrate the birthday of the child you discard because he failed to meet your expectations is just sick. Afterall they have warded the house to protect themselves and the children they deemed worthy of keeping so the arguement that they sent harry away to protecthim is just rubbish.
The family in Surrey that was killed several chapters ago, was that the Dursleys?
