I have to disagree with the first review a bit; I think Luna will have to do some very fast talking if Harry and the others aren't to think Harry alternating dating her and Hermione isn't coing out of nowhere -- we can see it, Hermione can see it, I doubt anyone else could. Granted, we can also see a likely end resault, one as Lady Black, the other as Lady Potter, but that's still a bit further away
Other than that, great chapter!

Heh heh.. well, I never said it was going to be easy for them.
On the other hand, I'm not too sure which of the others might see him dating Hermione as coming out of nowhere. Tonks knows courtesy of her peak into Harry's head., and Luna already gave her dad a head's up. Tonks already clued Minerva in during their late night chat that probably the only reason other girls left him alone was because they thought Hermione had already staked a claim. Moody has a magical eye and with his constant vigilence would have observed Harry's body language around Hermione, and Remus has his werewolf senses to pick up Harry's reactions to her as well, not to mention has probably been clued in by Sirius since Christmas. The Grangers have already had a conversation about it the night the order visited them.
I guess I'm hoping that by this stage, the adults around them will understand him dating Hermione, and at this stage, the plan is just to give H/Hr some equal time so the three can work things out & come up wth an answer on Sunday.
I'm predicting gang aft agley!
