Very good update, I enjoyed it immensely. Your take on Penseives was very different than my own. I don't think they should be affected by any of their surroundings in the memory, but that may just be me.
It was sadly realistic for Harry and Hermione to put there relationship on hold for Ron. I can only hope that it doesn't last much longer. He clearly isn't investing the same level of commitment as they are, if his bursting in on them suspiciously was any indicator.
