This is an interesting premise. I love the "church of X" idea and the way you're bringing different ancient civilizations and mythologies together.

You're also doing a great job integrating the Evolution versions of the characters with other elements of the X-Men canon (Genosha, New Mutants, Rogue's extended powers).

Where you truly shine though, is the dialog! Love it, love it, love it! Excellent! You have the subtle nuances of each character's speech mannerisms completely nailed.

I do think this first chapter could benefit from some editing. On occasion, you tend to infodump. For example, the first paragraph could go.

I think you'll get excellent reviews anyway, and people will of course enjoy reading your work. I only make the editing suggestion because I think this story could easily be upgraded to "professional" quality. (Not that fan fics can ever actually be professional, but you know what I mean.)

You are a very talented writer and I hope you keep up the good work!
