I liked this. I liked it a lot.
It was quite insightful. I like it when people write fics that are realistic or have general knowledge to reality. Just little things you included in here made it all seem real.
And of course, it was horribly tragic. I mean, the one part that thankfully has no connection to reality is the part where Bert commits suicide.
Anyways,I love GeeBee fics. So yeah, I pretty much loved it. :)

Aw thank you so much, it means a lot. To be a hardass, I could try and say that I don't care what anyone thinks about what I write, but duh, it really makes a different when someone says they like it. So thank you! I'm glad that it appealed to your tastes.
I wanted to keep it realistic in terms of the small interjections such as Gerard's assumptions of Bert's home life. It's not like it never existed, you know? So I wanted to make a point to show that these were two "real" people (at least in fiction) that had real lives that were subjected to eventual tragedy.
I promise that I'll have more Bert/Gee fics up soon! Keep checking back and I promise you won't be disappointed.
