I don't think putting yourself in a story is egotastical, I think of it as a way to do all the things that you've ever wanted to do.
As for the story itself, I think that it's great!!

Cool. Thanx. The funny thing is, this story is kinda written in the same world as tummy wars. It's just from a different perspective.
