I read this when I first stumbled onto this site ... I think before I even posted something here myself.
This is very good and true to life. The way you've described it all ... well, you can feel the emotion. That's the sign of a good writer.
You should keep writing - even it's not MCF fanfic =D
p.s. I loved this line the most:
