It's a great start, but I hope you explain a bit more of Harry's intervening nineteen years during which he learned how to disembowel multiple Death Eaters.
I really liked the separate introspective scenes, and I think you used them well to separate Harry's friends into what they really are. It seems pretty clear that Ron's jealousy is going to play a sizable role in the story, which is always fun when I know in advance that he won't get whatever he wants. Or at least I strongly suspect.
