That was a tear jerker.
I think yes, it would of been able to stand on its own because it happened to gerard too so it would still of made sense but i think that because it is a personal experience and you can explain it better that way, that makes it more meaningful and deep. It also makes it easier for me as a reader to feel as though Im there.
I was wondering when Gerard was gunna even think about thanking Kat.
This chapter made me think about the rea Kat (the one I just found out about lol) And it made me see Gerard in a different light for a few moments. She went through all that with him and stayed with him and he just broke up with her? (If that is correct.)
Great chapter anyway, really cant wait for next day!

Thanks for your thoughts on this one (and the question I posted at the end).
I think that Kat and Gerard broke it off in 2005 ... so it wasn't right after he got clean or anything. And of course, who really know how much she was there for him when he was going through all that shit. I'm sure she was there, but only they know, ya know?
