Day 6. Yeah. That was a rough one. I can only hope that the real Kat was able to provide the real Gerard with some form of comfort and stability during that time. He had to have something to hold on to, to get it though it, right? Well, at least that's how I think about it.
This one was a tough one to read. Even worse than the last chapter I think. I knew what lay in store when I got to the end of Day 5. You're not pulling any punches that's for sure, but you're still managing to thread the line between fiction and reality and make this a very moving and believable piece in general (in regards to your question at the end, I think it stands up no matter how you look at it or what kind of "inside information" you might have before reading it).
