- Johnny the Shine was my favorite character in the Police Squad! series... (With the possible exception of the 'guest star' that died in the opening credits.
- This came (as so many of my bad ideas do) from a discussion on Caer Azkaban about a Hogan's Heroes/Harry Potter cross idea where in it would be shown that Sargent Schultz actually knew EVERYTHING, and his knowledge and abilities had been passed to his nephew, Johnny the Shine, who decides to use his talents to make a buck...
