I think you made Angel's tone a bit flowery, but it is just like him to do something stupid like tell about someone's death on Buffy's birthday.
It is nice that someone remembered that the boy can draw, though. He must have done a hundred drawings of Darla; makes sense that he'd do one of Buffy.
