Okay, I have some time so I’m going to try to review everything I missed in this one review right here, okay?
Okay so let’s start with More Broken than Ever Before.
Is it just me, or did Frankie seem kind of annoyed/frustrated that Evangeline keeps saying that she’s okay all the time? I mean, I agree with him, she does need to “Let it all out” and tell him what’s going on, but at the same time, she is going through a lot at the moment, and maybe that wasn’t the best way to go about it, but I don’t know what I would have done either.
“I see Frank’s eyes widen a little.”
Haha! So she basically took her shirt off so that he could tell how badly she was hurt. Nothing wrong with that. I'm not being sarcastic, in case it sounded that way.
I’ve got to say though, that my favorite part of this story was when she finally let go and releases all the pain and anguish that she’s been through, that was an important moment for her and it shows just how much she’s been through.
Then came the part where she asked Frankie how he found her, how he saved her and he told her all the things that he saw and how he was shocked that she didn’t try to run, or even fight or anything.
I think that it was pretty sad that she was so resigned to the fact that she “doesn’t run” and that she can just take whatever her dad did to her.
Then her and Frankie kiss and he runs away from her.
Wow, this was like a 180 on my emotions, At first they kissed and I was like Aww, that is so sweet! But I was also partially thinking that she might have done that because she just wanted to feel something good after all that just happened to her. But I don’t know this is leaving me feeling mixed up, part of me is like, okay it’s good that he left because he shouldn’t be taking advantage of her, but part of me is like NO! Frankie shouldn’t have left!
Well that’s all for this review, but I WILL be back to review the other chapters in a bit (well I’ll have some time on Sunday so definitely by then.)
