I think you have a great thing going here, you could tell this story in flashback form while at "luna's talks"
maybe even have thingd work out so that wrong doer's are punished.
Or not it is your story and I look forward to reading more.

This will be more-or-less linear. I've outlined the story so it has a definate beginning, middle and end. Of course, my stories have a way of taking on lives of their own!
