How come Harry doesn't know about Star Trek? Even if he's never seen the show. I would have expected one of the Muggle Borns to comment on how apperation is like the Transporter, and the Room of Requirement is like a Holo Deck

For the purposes of this storyliine, the Star Trek Multi-media empire was never created. Other shows of the same ilk such as Blake's 7, Dr. Who, Space 1999 and Red Dwarf filled the Niche that Star Trek created and has maintained all these years. (What can I say, I'm a fan of Brit Sci-fi to a certain extent)
