Definitely a good start to the story. Watched the firefly series and was sad to see it end. Not really sure where the star wars element is and am curious to see how much of that you use.
I can definitely see the similarietes between this fic and LoW, and hope that you don't sacrafice one excellent story for two very good stories. I think i speak for all your readers when i say that i would rather have you put one story on hold and focus on the other one than have you sacrafice quality for quantity. Stories this good are hard to come by!
