Nice touches with Lavender and Pansy (perhaps something between Pansy and Neville to get her away from the Ferret?). I do like this chapter with both plot development and smut (great blend!!). I can see Neville and Pansy making quite an impression on Hogwarts, especially as they defend each other from the various predjudices; if anything, having to defend like that will bind them to each other far more than anything else.

Thanx, I like being able to do something nice for Lavender, and Neville will be Lord Protector for the house of Parkinson in the near future that means defending her from harm from any quarter. We’ll learn what happens when you become the scion of a disgraced house, and so will Draco, poor sod.
And there will be bindings, oh yes, Pansy is into that. . .
