I am seriously loving this story. It's exceptionally good on a number of levels and you should be extraordinarily pleased with what you've created here. For one, you've created an entirely new conceptualization of Harry as someone who both understands the way the world around him works and is clever enough; devoted enough to work to change it, though his own efforts and the help of others.

Also, you've done a great job making Hermione Harry's true motivation for being a solution to the immediate problems around him while at the same time not overpowering your story line with tangential issues of Harry's love for Hermione (not that such a story wouldn't be good...it's just that it's not what I see you're doing).

I also like the fact that you are coalescing people around Harry - including Snape - and it's really working for you. The bit about Bulstrode and how she tipped Harry off to what Marietta and Pansy were going to do was really well written. Your 'punishment' of them was extremely clever and original (I'd say unique in HP fanfiction...I know I've never seen it before!).

Anyway - I like this story alot and think that it would be really sad if you didn't finish it.
