A Fist Full of Galleons

Well it looks like all of the people close to Harry have decided to leave Great Britain for good, once Voldemort's been dealt with. Given that all of the corrupt and bigotted purebloods - in Britain's Minstry of Magic - that have been exposed during this story are being replaced by conservative purebloods who are (more) honest, I can't entirely blame them for giving up on the country.

"The Gang" making a profit off capturing Death Eaters, put a smile on my face. If you can act out of enlightened self-intrest and make a profit while doing so, why not?

I wonder if the technomages - with assistance from "The Gang" - has set up missle batteries by each of the isolated Death Eater safehouses (and just relay Harry's signal to the right one, when the time comes), or if they're going to somehow Portkey the missile laucher(s) to the right location just before the attack?

I don't feel any sympathy for Draco Malfoy. This story's version of the character earned anything he got with the attack on Herminone and Ron.

For that matter, I think he got off far too lightly in the books. As far as I'm concerned, the only "virtue" Draco showed in HBP and DH is that he loves his parents. He struck me as the type of person who would gladly give money and use his influence to support "the cause", but doesn't have the stomach to get his hands dirty for it. Which, if anything, makes him more contemptable (IMO) than a homicidal lunatic like Bellatrix. Because at least she's willing to do anything and give everying for "the cause".

I think, however, that there may be some timeline issue with this chapter.

Late April: Nagini can be tracked; Aurors start raiding Death Eater safehouses.

Early June: Aurors have raided six Death Eater safehouses by this time.

Late June: Aurors, while raiding the fourth Death Eater safehouse they have become aware of, find Draco Malfoy.

"Three Weeks later"/(Late July?): Draco Malfoy (what's left of him) is turned over to his mother.

Late May: Nagini is killed; Harry pushes the button on
