Wow...this is quite good!
I really like how you take the time to describe the setting - all the pieces that make it up, like in the library with the books...it really helps to create a picture, a very detailed one at that, for the reader.
I can't wait to see what you do with it!!

Thanks! I find it quite tricky to add description in a conversational narrative. My concern is that it may end up sounding unnatural. But that's one of my personal challenges for this story.
