Great story! I've really been looking for good Gabrielle stories... and an added bonus, is that it's playing out in 4th year and that Gabrielle isn't "really 16, she just looks eight".
I'm looking forward to Harry's summer visit if France -- as well as the reaction of the Durselys. Also, what will happen at the end of the tournament, if Gabrielle is almost always following Harry around?
I would also hope Harry use his gift to get into Hermione's knickers (as well as many other girls)... although I guess he and Gabby will need to spend some time explaining how the bond is not slavery. I also think Harry shoul "appolegize" to Hannah... ;-)

One thing though, I would love if you made an alternate story, where it's a normal wedding-bond that's initiated, and Gabrielle stays visible (but usually not naked).
Harry has deal with being married to an 8 y/o -- from friends, students, professors, their family and the wizarding world... and defend her from the likes of Malfoy. Harry will also be her guarding and father-figure, as well as lover and husband. Preferbly with Harry maintaining the pull.

Glad you're liking the story so far. I like Gabrielle stories too when they're done well. Too many authors choose to fudge her age--even the sixth-/seventh-year Harry/Gabby stories usually bump her age up to 14 or 15 or even older. I thought it would be interesting to write a Harry/Gabby bonding-after-the-second-task story that didn't mess with her age and make it readable.
Sadly, we're not going to get to see Harry and Gabby's trip to France since the story is only going to cover a few more days. This was never meant to be a replacement for the canon story after the second task, it was just supposed to be a little plot bunny that's managed to grow into a plot rabbit. I won't rule out writing a sequel that picks up the story and continues on through year 7 but I currently have no plans to do so.
It's funny you mentioned the "alternate story" where it's a normal wedding bond because that was my original idea: Fleur would have pulled Harry aside and informed him that her sister had bonded with Harry and that they were, for all intents and purposes, married. Harry would have been given new quarters to share with his wife and he would have had to consummate the bond with a very different Gabby (she would have been very apologetic to Harry for bonding him without his knowledge, thinking that he couldn't possibly want her because of her age) and Harry would have had to deal with having an eight-year-old wife and all the accompanying problems, but I chose to go the smut-filled route instead. I'm not saying that I won't ever write that version, but, like the sequel, I don't currently have any plans to do so.
