Actually, I think your Gerard is in character for someone who had lived through the scenario of his back story. Especially the fact that he just goes and fucks random women and "it means nothing". That would be like taking out frustration or something I would imagine. Great comment from Willow though. They're both getting to know how to get to one another in multiple ways. I see him also openly being rude during that whole diner thing (and after the Mikey chat) possibly in an attempt to get her not to like him in that way but also I think he's in denial. He's started to get feelings for her but doesn't want to get hurt.
And of course you've set it up that Willow is actually the same type of character - hurt badly by love. And she's also started to get feelings for him and doesn't want to get hurt. Wait till he finds out she's a virgin ... doubtful he could resist that.

Wow you just nailed exactly what's going on with these characters. They both are having problems dealing with their feelings towards each other. The virgin thing....yeah well that will be addressed later, of course. Thanks for the review.
