Wow. Have you ever considered writing longer stories? All your short pieces are wonderful, and it's obvious you put thought and research(!) into your POTC stuff. Great original voice of the preacher (love the line about the "scandalous" flash of ankle)- nice outside view of Jack and the crew, with lovely bits of humor that didn't slip into parody. Your Jack carefully straddles that charming line of menancing (threatening the crew) and mystifyingly (to an outsider, at least) decent. I also really liked the imagining of what a pirate marriage ceremony (and one between Jack and Ana at that) would be like. It was sweet but not sappy or overwrought. (And Jack/Ana fic is so hard to find, nevermind good Jack/Ana fic...)
P.S.- Sorry if this commenting on all of your stories is getting old, I'm just trying to keep my promise to myself to not be lazy and feedback everything I read.
