Ahh, shit. Why haven't I read this before now?! Fuck, Sas, this is incredible!
Though, I've gotta say... can't Pete just turn Patrick to satisfy his craving and not kill him? It only seems logical; but since Pete still hasn't had his first drink, I don't know if he'd be able to control himself enough to turn Patrick rather than drain him. Oh, God. I love Patrick too much to even think about him dying in fanfiction. Dx
And, damn! William's a clever one, ain't he? Tricking Andy into thinking Joe turned on them, and setting up the whole thing. This has taught me something: never underestimate the scrawny pretty-boy who can fit into your clothes... because he is most likely a vampire who will kidnap your heroes and have them kill each other. -nod- It totally makes sense.
iloveitsomuchhhh.
x-------- fuck that shit. You know who I am.
Author's response
This is a tricky one with Pete. He hates what Beckett did to him and I think it would be equally harrowing if he had to turn his best friend.
But, right now, he's drained and starving. He needs blood desperately and unfortunately his vampire instincts are starting to kick in. Patrick is becoming less a friend and more of a meal. And he simply can't help himself.
William is pure evil and won't be happy until he destroys their group and gets Pete under control. He's hoping that by making him kill Patrick, so taking his first human blood and turning everyone against Joe, that that will be sufficient. Failing that he believes that mind control and torture will bring Pete in line. Either way he's rid himself of the hunters.
Now then... What could possibly cause his plan to fail? I wonder... Can it?
Thanks, as ever, for the review. Hope you keep enjoying it!!

I just re-read the last part of your review. I'm sitting in hospital having fainted with pain in the car park and they brought me back in. And what you wrote about 'the scrawny pretty-boy' made me smile :)
Just wanted to say thanks, you really cheered me up.
