I love the connection that Pete and Patrick share. I hope it will be helpful.
Beckett seems to have shown his strenghth and why he's head of his coven.
Spencer is getting a little too cocky and little does he know that Pete is down there probably about to spill it all.
Really great chapter as we get to learn more and more and watch the plot unfolding.

Hi Moonshyne - you are, as ever, far too kind!! But it does have the effect of making me want to write stories that will continue to interest you! Part of the reason I (temporarily) set aside my MCR stories - I really felt they were getting stale and I needed a change of scene to regroup.
Yes, Beckett rarely 'gets his hands dirty' so to speak, but when required, he has tremendous power.
Yes, I do believe it's possible that Spencer may have the shortest career as a Second in vampire history! But, we'll see :)
What about Pete though? Agreeing to save Patrick's life even though he knew the pressure of it could drive him crazy. Awww!
