I love the beginning of this so far. Poor Pete is so upset and feeling guilty about what happened with Patrick.
Poor Patrick feeling so empty that he's completed everything life has to offer. That's just sad.

I think it's easy to get a bit lost at times. When you've acheived what you want but haven't thought ahead to what's next it can be very confusing.
And yes, poor Pete, he's a good soul. If only he knew that Patrick was right next to him.
