omigosh.
at first i was ready to kick you for using the cliche 'it was all a dream' ending.
But then, oh, but then.
It was a good ending.
This was an amazing story. And unlike most, it was ended really well. :)

Thanks!! :D You know, I didn't think I was going to get away with it and I very nearly didn't do it, but I REALLY wanted to. But, as you say, it's not just the usual 'then he woke up and it had all been a dream' ending. Was it a premonition?? I wonder! ;)
