I'm liking it. Great immediate sense of pace and urgency in the first section. Back story is nice and short but shows and hides in just about the right measures. Really like the simplicity of Jounouchi's eventual reply to Anzu. Good stuff.

Urgency is what I was going for. I was actually really worried about the backstory and how it was wedged in, so I appreciate the feedback on that. Thanks for taking the time to write a thoughtful review. I'm glad you liked the story
