I enjoyed seeing Harry take out Griphook and set up a firm alliance with the Dag. It was also nice seeing him settle details with Andromeda and the others! Fawkes definately rocks; his disposal of that little trinket and then visiting his friend in Japan gives him plausible deniability! (snicker) I keep seeing an image of Dumbles puttering along as usual......and then the Anvil chorus playing in the backgroud just as the first one hits! Thanks for this chapter!

I feel Rowling did the goblins a huge disservice in making them out to be the money grubbing, backstabbing traitors they appeared to be in book seven. Until then they at least seemed to have code of honor.
Fawkes has to have something to keep himself sane given that he lives with the 'omniscient one'. An odd sense of humor would be just the ticket.
