so many parts in this I enjoyed =D
(and I like drunk-claude, who lives in an… uhm… apartment. XD)
this sentence was beautiful somehow:
- 'Lights blurred in front of him, water ran into his eyes, thought slipped mercifully away . . . '
…see? it's the way you have with words, how you describe things, you can imagine it all so easily when you read it…
the part with 'is your apartment nice – no? then downtown;' and 'we have music festivals?' was brilliant too ;-D
- "Yeah, it is," Claude mumbled. "Still is. But, y'know, whatever. Free cab rides."

and i liked the taxi driver – i thought he was going to become nasty, but then... there you go, I haven't met such a nice person in a long time… claude, I hear you X/
