i wonder though, as the betrothed of potter, hermoine now has some pull, right? i wonder too, i think the goblins might get along with her pretty decently.
anyway, hope there is more sooner rather than later.

Technically, yes. As the betrothed, Hermione is the future Lady Gryffindor. On the other hand, she is a muggleborne, and the purists will ignore her entirely, or find a way to minimize her influence. This is the same reason i didn't have Graswold voting Harry's proxy. Moreover, Hermione is not interested in politics here. She ins a warrior, for the foreseeable future, and until this is over, she'll be Harry's first lieutenant.
Given that she treats people as equals, I cannot disagree. Harry earned their respect, by being honest with them.
Of course, he also had to kill Griphook in single combat with blades.
The next chapter is written, and will be polished by next week. On the other hand, now that my sister FireLemming is out of the hospital,I'm taking care of her.
She's stubborn, prideful and as annoying as a tropical disease. Still, I'm grateful she's alive.
