Good to see the old sorting hat get a run. Looking forward to when Harry & the gang start putting their training to use, maybe even stirring Dumbles up a bit more? Good read. Cheers.

It's getting complicated now, with the different characters all demanding air-time. I've always seen the Hat as someone who enjoys a prank, just to stir things up. (or maybe he's just drunk.)
I have about two chapters before Harry&Co. start to practice and half a dozen before this comes to a head.
Two or so chapters from now, Dumbledore will learn what the prank Harry and the hat played, and shortly after that, will get a nasty surprise.
