The plot thickens... :) Interesting choices on who's getting paid by Dumbles. I look forward to the explanations and finding out exactly which Weasleys are on the take. Not to mention what action Harry takes in response. ;) And when are the other characters you tagged in the summary going to make an appearance? I'm eagerly anticipating the arrival of Tonks, Narcissa, and Bellatrix on the scene.

Also wondering if anything more is going to come of the dark elf, or is she just a 'bit part?'

I also add that the use of the Predia Bellica spell can be found in many stories, but I think the Witches' Secret trilogy used it first. That, and another story, "Our Lady O' The Bless'd Do Over," can be found at the Rotaryfile yahoo group.

And finally (and I know you're probably sick of hearing it), you really need to ride herd on your beta(s). I recall your mention of spelling difficulties, so this isn't a rant at you personally. In fact, I normally wouldn't bring it up, but the frequency of those errors in your text detracts from the story. And beta readers should be able to catch those kind of errors. Even the rebeta'd chapters still have them.
