I have two Harry Potter cannon soap boxes: Dumbledore creating his suicide bomb weapon; and genius Hermione staying with mor/Ron. You have taken care of those nicely.
Like many other, I have read a lot of HP fanfics so I'm not sure who offered these interesting ideas: use the "underage use of magic" sensors to spot the use of unforgivables; use "Marauder map" of England to locate them; have scattered multinational quick response teams that could apparate to the locations quickly. I think this is a good response plan that would please the Queen. I think "Witches Secret" had a good idea in giving firstborns, half-bloods, and any other endangered magic children and their families emergency portkeys. Or was it "all" magica ls? I thank any of these would work well in your "Jedi Potter".
Thank you for a very interesting story. I look forward to seeing else you go with this.
May the MUSE always be with you!!!

Author's response
I have the same two basic boxes.
First, Hermione had to have dropped about a thousand IQ points to even consider hooking up wth teh walking stomach. The second being Dumbledore 's suicide bomber. I agree wholeheartedly.
One of the hardest things for me to write is a story where Dumbley is NOT a manipulative old bastard willing to sacrifice anything and anyone to attain his ends. He is unfortunately one of the three disparate personalities my father exhibited. When he was drunk, it was a combination of Snape and Vernon. When he was sober, it was 'I'm never wrong' Dumbledore.
The ban on underage magic is canon, as far back as the end of year one, and IMO, as stupid a law as any in existence. Only the mugglebornes and those living in the magical world who actually care about the laws, will comply. In essence it's a chance for the purebloods to practice over the summer.
The 'taboo' (Ugh!) wasn't introduced until the very last book. (Stupid, really!)but if it was used, it should have been targeted better. (I wonder who could have been involved with that?)
I don't think I've read 'Witches Secret'. I believe I stole the idea of emergency portkeys from Seel'vor, an exceptional author, but it makes a huge amount of sense to me. After all, as a former police officer, sailor and having served with the Marine Corps for so long, I have grown used to establishing an escape route from any room I enter.
I'm glad you are enjoying the story. Unfortunately updates will be sporadic for the foreseeable future. The A/N in chapter 21 will tell you why.
