As much as I love your writing, SCREW IT! I'm so sorry to hear about your sister, and you have too much else to deal with other than this. You and yours have my sincerest condolences on your loss. Take time away from this (unless you use it as a coping mechanism, of course) and be with your family.
I've never met Firelemming, but I would go to pieces if it had happened to my sis, even if we don't seem to have anywhere near the relationship you had with yours.
Take care of yourself, your family, and your friends. Your fans will await your return, and welcome you whenever you grace us with your presence.
Author's response
I thank you for your kind words, JaCeesme.
In many ways, I have used writing fics as a therapy. Perhaps this will be the same, but I'm going to miss her horribly.
I'm more concerned with my daughter. I've faced death so often we're old friends, but my sister is the first human being my baby has ever seen die. I'm waiting for the break-point.
If you'd like to see some of FireLemming's work, go to The Lion King's art site. I think it's simply called TLK. Her comics are absolutely beautiful.
I will post again, as soon as things settle down, and hopefully the story will be done in ten or so more chapters.
