Sorry to hear about your loss I wish you and your daughter the best in your time of grief/recovery. I've greatly enjoyed your story, but just wanted to point out that Krum used the Cruciatus curse on cedric while under the Imperius. It's your universe and what you say goes but I just had to point it out. Though any problems you need to work out in your real life far outweigh this tiny little thing.

Thanks you JustAReader.
We will survive. We will continue. I believe strongly that 'from life comes death, from death, life'. We will mourn my sister, and we will always remember, and that is enough, I think.
Cruciatus: That's one of the glaring inconsistencies in the story (of which there are hundreds). In GoF, Crouch Jr. tells the DADA class: "You could all get out your wands point them at me and say the words, and I doubt I'd get so much as a nosebleed" and Bellatrix said in OotP: "You need to mean them Potter! You need to really want to cause pain -- to enjoy it!"
IMO, curses, are intended to cause harm, whereas jinxes and hexes are meant to cause disruption and charms are for the most part, benign, so to cause harm with a curse, you have to 'want' to hurt someone.
If the Imperius robs one of free will, as Malfoy claimed, then it should not be possible to use an 'intent-based' curse.
thanks again, for your thoughts.
